Narrative:
We were being radar vectored for approach to kimpo by seoul approach. We had just leveled off at 8000 heading northwest when TCASII noted a conflict. It almost immediately commanded a climb, which I instructed the copilot to execute. We immediately climbed 300 ft to 8300 ft and simultaneously advised seoul approach that we were climbing to avoid a TCASII conflict. We were subsequently advised by approach that we had traffic level at 7000 ft. This was confirmed by TCASII. Returned to 8000 ft with no further incident.

Title: A WDB ACR TOOK EVASIVE ACTION IN RESPONSE TO TCASII.
Narrative: WE WERE BEING RADAR VECTORED FOR APCH TO KIMPO BY SEOUL APCH. WE HAD JUST LEVELED OFF AT 8000 HDG NW WHEN TCASII NOTED A CONFLICT. IT ALMOST IMMEDIATELY COMMANDED A CLB, WHICH I INSTRUCTED THE COPLT TO EXECUTE. WE IMMEDIATELY CLBED 300 FT TO 8300 FT AND SIMULTANEOUSLY ADVISED SEOUL APCH THAT WE WERE CLBING TO AVOID A TCASII CONFLICT. WE WERE SUBSEQUENTLY ADVISED BY APCH THAT WE HAD TFC LEVEL AT 7000 FT. THIS WAS CONFIRMED BY TCASII. RETURNED TO 8000 FT WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT.
