Narrative:
Departing tgl, our ATC clearance was for the 'brunkendorf 1J' departure which was a different departure from that filed on the flight plan. The txl page 10-3 portrays 4 departures; bkw 1H and 1J and bkd 1H and 1J. The bkw 1J description appears first in the description box. Because of the phonetic similarities of both the names and identifiers, and the unfamiliar language, both the first officer and I incorrectly assumed the bkw 1J was the one for which we were cleared and I briefed for that departure. We had actually been cleared for the bkd 1J. Initially both departures are the same, over the same OM. Upon reaching the marker we began the turn to the second (incorrect) point. Departure control questioned our heading, we realized our mistake and were cleared direct to brunkendorf. The abbreviations for these departures are a very similar, providing a built-in trap.

Title: HDG TRACK DEV OCCURS AS FLC MISINTERPS AERO CHART PRESENTATION SID.
Narrative: DEPARTING TGL, OUR ATC CLRNC WAS FOR THE 'BRUNKENDORF 1J' DEP WHICH WAS A DIFFERENT DEP FROM THAT FILED ON THE FLT PLAN. THE TXL PAGE 10-3 PORTRAYS 4 DEPS; BKW 1H AND 1J AND BKD 1H AND 1J. THE BKW 1J DESCRIPTION APPEARS FIRST IN THE DESCRIPTION BOX. BECAUSE OF THE PHONETIC SIMILARITIES OF BOTH THE NAMES AND IDENTIFIERS, AND THE UNFAMILIAR LANGUAGE, BOTH THE FO AND I INCORRECTLY ASSUMED THE BKW 1J WAS THE ONE FOR WHICH WE WERE CLRED AND I BRIEFED FOR THAT DEP. WE HAD ACTUALLY BEEN CLRED FOR THE BKD 1J. INITIALLY BOTH DEPS ARE THE SAME, OVER THE SAME OM. UPON REACHING THE MARKER WE BEGAN THE TURN TO THE SECOND (INCORRECT) POINT. DEP CTL QUESTIONED OUR HDG, WE REALIZED OUR MISTAKE AND WERE CLRED DIRECT TO BRUNKENDORF. THE ABBREVIATIONS FOR THESE DEPS ARE A VERY SIMILAR, PROVIDING A BUILT-IN TRAP.
