Narrative:
The problem arose when the controller ask cpr X to report an intersection. I told him I had been cleared direct to the airport. He thought that I had been cleared by an airway. I cancelled IFR landed at the laf airport with no problem. Approach controls without radar cause more of a problem than good because they are relaying instead of the pilot just talking direct to center.

Title: CTR RADAR CTLR FAILED TO PROPERLY ARTCC TRACON INTERFAC COORD WITH NON RADAR APCH CTL.
Narrative: THE PROBLEM AROSE WHEN THE CTLR ASK CPR X TO RPT AN INTXN. I TOLD HIM I HAD BEEN CLRED DIRECT TO THE ARPT. HE THOUGHT THAT I HAD BEEN CLRED BY AN AIRWAY. I CANCELLED IFR LANDED AT THE LAF ARPT WITH NO PROBLEM. APCH CTLS WITHOUT RADAR CAUSE MORE OF A PROBLEM THAN GOOD BECAUSE THEY ARE RELAYING INSTEAD OF THE PLT JUST TALKING DIRECT TO CTR.
