Narrative:
At approximately PM33Z air carrier X was at FL220 about 18 NM northwest drako intersection after heading 070 degrees to intercept den 313 degree radial inbound. The aircraft was being flown on autoplt and the computer had just intercepted the den 313 degree radial inbound at 50 NM. Intercept confirmed accurate on raw data. At PM33Z, den center called for us to descend to FL190 and expedite out of FL210. Just as descent was started (approximately 300 ft down) air carrier X received a momentary TCASII alert/resolution directly overhead at 300 ft. No time for evasive action. Normal approach landing. Either controller workload too heavy or conflicting aircraft out of position.

Title: TCASII RA ALERTS CREW TO PASSING OVERHEAD TFC AFTER DSCNT EXPEDITE IS INITIATED AT ARTCC RADAR CTLR'S REQUEST. POTENTIAL CONFLICT NOTED.
Narrative: AT APPROX PM33Z ACR X WAS AT FL220 ABOUT 18 NM NW DRAKO INTXN AFTER HDG 070 DEGS TO INTERCEPT DEN 313 DEG RADIAL INBOUND. THE ACFT WAS BEING FLOWN ON AUTOPLT AND THE COMPUTER HAD JUST INTERCEPTED THE DEN 313 DEG RADIAL INBOUND AT 50 NM. INTERCEPT CONFIRMED ACCURATE ON RAW DATA. AT PM33Z, DEN CTR CALLED FOR US TO DSND TO FL190 AND EXPEDITE OUT OF FL210. JUST AS DSCNT WAS STARTED (APPROX 300 FT DOWN) ACR X RECEIVED A MOMENTARY TCASII ALERT/RESOLUTION DIRECTLY OVERHEAD AT 300 FT. NO TIME FOR EVASIVE ACTION. NORMAL APCH LNDG. EITHER CTLR WORKLOAD TOO HVY OR CONFLICTING ACFT OUT OF POS.
