Narrative:
During ILS approach, the left engine flamed out. The engine was idented and feathered. The required emergency checklist completed. An 'emergency' was declared and the aircraft landed without further incident. After landing it was determined that one hour of fuel should have been remaining. However, the tank was dry.

Title: INFLT ENG SHUTDOWN, ENG FAILURE DUE TO FUEL EXHAUSTION IN L TANK.
Narrative: DURING ILS APCH, THE L ENG FLAMED OUT. THE ENG WAS IDENTED AND FEATHERED. THE REQUIRED EMER CHKLIST COMPLETED. AN 'EMER' WAS DECLARED AND THE ACFT LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. AFTER LNDG IT WAS DETERMINED THAT ONE HR OF FUEL SHOULD HAVE BEEN REMAINING. HOWEVER, THE TANK WAS DRY.
