Narrative:
On takeoff out of bwi, tower advised us that it appeared that a wheel from the left side of the aircraft had fallen off. We called company and decided it was best to continue to bdl maintenance base and burn off as much fuel to decrease our landing weight. We prepared the passenger for an emergency landing and declared an emergency with bdl. We landed safely in bdl with no injuries and no damage with the exception of the missing wheel. Supplemental information from acn 217159: we diverted to bdl and landed without incident. The passenger were braced.
