Narrative:
After arrival at los angeles airport we were told by a deplaning passenger that she was gong to report a near miss with another plane. On 24/25 profile descent to lax we were level at 10000 ft making our turn toward santa monica when the captain saw another air carrier jet fly under us at 9000 ft. Both of us were at proper altitude and under radar control. Supplemental information from acn 217248: upon arrival at lax a deplaning passenger asked for my name so that she could report our 'near miss.'
