Narrative:
After landing flight X at ind, 7/D/92, I was assigned gate Y. When arriving at gate area, no one was there to park me, so I proceeded to follow yellow park line and stopped short of parking spot. After a short delay, I was guided forward by a company employee to the medium large transport parking spot and chocked. During the delay, a belt loader had been placed in front of the right engine. As we moved forward, the #2 engine struck the belt loader.
