Narrative:

The second passenger is a licensed private pilot and had been authorized by the insurance carrier to occupy the left seat with an authorized PIC in the right seat. For this portion of the flight, the second passenger sat in the left seat and I occupied the right seat. The passenger (pilot) in the left seat taxied the aircraft to runway 03 and made a normal takeoff. The flight to superior (suw) was uneventful. He asked that I make the landing. The winds were out of the wnw at 5-8 KTS. I entered the downwind for runway 31 with the normal position reports. The landing was a normal 3 point landing. As the aircraft was rolling out, the aircraft started turning to the left. I applied right rudder and right brake to straighten aircraft with runway centerline. The right brake failed and full right rudder would not stop the aircraft from turning left. The aircraft ground looped left and the right gear broke off from the side load with the propeller and the right wing tip striking the ground. There were no injuries.
