Narrative:

Aircraft was just returned to flight given a pre-purchase inspection. Shop did not re-attach nose gear doors, thus causing gear to contact closed doors and fail gear retract/extend arm. This forced a landing without nose gear fully extended. All emergency procedures were attempted without any position results. Tower was advised. Emergency equipment was in place on landing. There were no injuries. Damage to nose section, propeller blades, and possibly engines was sustained. Propellers were placed in feather position but did not stop rotating before impact with the ground.
