Narrative:

A potential problem may exist at rdu with taxi instructions. Some airlines have an agreement with the ground control at some stations for 'standard taxi'. See enclosed taxi information. According to the aim 'taxi to' means just that, taxi to the runway by way of any taxiway you deem necessary and you may cross other runways to get to the departure runway. However, note what 'taxi to' means in the enclosed taxi instructions. Does the controller now have to say 'standard taxi to runway 5 left?' this happened to me the other day. Please write or call if you have any information on this problem.
