Narrative:
We were scheduled to depart tcl for pib as flight #X. This flight is a continuation of a previous flight from atl to tcl, also flight #X previous flight was late and had no passengers continuing to pib, so we were to depart on time. On climb out, tower told us bhm approach was working our other flight with the same number, so we called ourselves #Y. I had never had this situation occur before. Next time I'll know to alter our number before we takeoff in similar situation.
