Narrative:

Flying into springfield, a passenger came into the cockpit saying that she needed to go to the bathroom immediately. I advised her to return to her seat because the airport was right in front of us and that we would be on the ground in just a couple of mins, but she insisted that she couldn't wait and began crying. She wanted to use the cockpit so she could close the doors since the cabin was full in back and there was no place for her to go (she had been sitting in the front row). Captain and I explained that for safety reasons we couldn't permit her to use the cockpit. At this point we were getting close to landing and she was distracting us with her persistence and refusal to return to her seat so I grabbed a sick sack and handed it to her and told her to go in the back and use it. As soon as she took the sack, however, she immediately started closing the cockpit door and pulling down her pants. There was no stopping her at this point, so captain told the controller we had a passenger problem and needed to circle around and wait for landing. The passenger was quick and then we returned to the runway for a routine landing. What caused the problem was the passenger not being informed that there were no rest room facilities on board the aircraft. A lock on the cockpit door and passengers being informed would prevent a recurrence of this incident.

Title: PAX WITH URGENT PHYSIOLOGICAL NEEDS ENTERS COCKPIT SEEKING RELIEF.

Narrative: FLYING INTO SPRINGFIELD, A PAX CAME INTO THE COCKPIT SAYING THAT SHE NEEDED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM IMMEDIATELY. I ADVISED HER TO RETURN TO HER SEAT BECAUSE THE ARPT WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF US AND THAT WE WOULD BE ON THE GND IN JUST A COUPLE OF MINS, BUT SHE INSISTED THAT SHE COULDN'T WAIT AND BEGAN CRYING. SHE WANTED TO USE THE COCKPIT SO SHE COULD CLOSE THE DOORS SINCE THE CABIN WAS FULL IN BACK AND THERE WAS NO PLACE FOR HER TO GO (SHE HAD BEEN SITTING IN THE FRONT ROW). CAPT AND I EXPLAINED THAT FOR SAFETY REASONS WE COULDN'T PERMIT HER TO USE THE COCKPIT. AT THIS POINT WE WERE GETTING CLOSE TO LNDG AND SHE WAS DISTRACTING US WITH HER PERSISTENCE AND REFUSAL TO RETURN TO HER SEAT SO I GRABBED A SICK SACK AND HANDED IT TO HER AND TOLD HER TO GO IN THE BACK AND USE IT. AS SOON AS SHE TOOK THE SACK, HOWEVER, SHE IMMEDIATELY STARTED CLOSING THE COCKPIT DOOR AND PULLING DOWN HER PANTS. THERE WAS NO STOPPING HER AT THIS POINT, SO CAPT TOLD THE CTLR WE HAD A PAX PROBLEM AND NEEDED TO CIRCLE AROUND AND WAIT FOR LNDG. THE PAX WAS QUICK AND THEN WE RETURNED TO THE RWY FOR A ROUTINE LNDG. WHAT CAUSED THE PROBLEM WAS THE PAX NOT BEING INFORMED THAT THERE WERE NO REST ROOM FACILITIES ON BOARD THE ACFT. A LOCK ON THE COCKPIT DOOR AND PAXS BEING INFORMED WOULD PREVENT A RECURRENCE OF THIS INCIDENT.
