Narrative:
The day this event occurred, I was a student on a long cross country from lake havasu city, az, to phoenix sky harbor, az. I had been cleared for a landing on runway 8L in front of a heavy turbine by the tower, but I didn't expedite by landing quick enough so I was instructed to do go around. Having been cleared for an immediate landing again between 2 heavy turbines, I proceeded to make a hasty landing and in doing so, I inadvertently made a landing on the north taxiway of runway 8L. The landing was made without incident and no other aircraft were involved. Supplemental information from acn 222556: he has been an exceptional student. I have spent a lot of the time observing him, as well as teaching. For TCA operations, his training hours were: 4.0 flight, 3.0 ground. I will have to spend more time on TCA's with students in the future. He will get more time, too.
