Narrative:

Flew standard traffic pattern (1500 ft MSL) while landing at airport (uncontrolled) which I have been using since 1952. Conditions were VFR. Antique high wing small aircraft has no electrical system or radio. While on base leg (left hand) at about 500 ft above ground I looked to right and saw an cpr light transport jet about 1/4 to 1/2 mi to my right and about 250 ft below on an apparent very flat straight in approach to the 3012 ft runway 27. The jet continued straight in (no evasive action) and made an apparent normal landing. Immediately upon seeing the jet I made a tight left 360 degree turn climbing with full power. I cleared myself and made another left 360 degree turn to avoid possible wake turbulence. I felt none. I landed short and made turn off at first 1000 ft. Jet was turning at far end and back taxied to 27. I tied my plane down and went to office and waited to be picked up for ride home. Pilot of jet came over about 10 mins later and proceeded to chew me out for 'cutting him out of the pattern.' he said he called on 5 mi straight in and that I should have seen him or heard him. He was so angry I had little opportunity to tell him that I had no radio and that he was so low I did not see him until the time and position I noted previously. I left the office and went outside to avoid his uncontrolled anger and wait for my ride. He again approached me using the 'F' word and more saying he was turning me into FAA. I committed to violation and question jets making straight INS to airport with small aircraft including ultra lights, etc.

I TIED MY PLANE DOWN AND WENT TO OFFICE AND WAITED TO BE PICKED UP FOR RIDE HOME. PLT OF JET CAME OVER ABOUT 10 MINS LATER AND PROCEEDED TO CHEW ME OUT FOR 'CUTTING HIM OUT OF THE PATTERN.' HE SAID HE CALLED ON 5 MI STRAIGHT IN AND THAT I SHOULD HAVE SEEN HIM OR HEARD HIM. HE WAS SO ANGRY I HAD LITTLE OPPORTUNITY TO TELL HIM THAT I HAD NO RADIO AND THAT HE WAS SO LOW I DID NOT SEE HIM UNTIL THE TIME AND POS I NOTED PREVIOUSLY. I LEFT THE OFFICE AND WENT OUTSIDE TO AVOID HIS UNCTLED ANGER AND WAIT FOR MY RIDE. HE AGAIN APCHED ME USING THE 'F' WORD AND MORE SAYING HE WAS TURNING ME INTO FAA. I COMMITTED TO VIOLATION AND QUESTION JETS MAKING STRAIGHT INS TO ARPT WITH SMALL ACFT INCLUDING ULTRA LIGHTS, ETC.
