Narrative:

Suspect wrong latitude/longitude position entered into computer on the ground at fra. Landed at lhr to correct problem. I feel the basic problem here was a breakdown in the xchk verification process between myself and the first officer. I feel this was due to numerous interruptions (at least 5) during our cockpit setup by station personnel and flight attendants. Also we were being rushed by ATC due to slot times. Another factor was that this aircraft had a new product improvement package added to the computer, so the presentation during loading was different. Our SOP's are adequate. From here on, I will insist on a sterile cockpit during this portion of the cockpit preparation and an absolute independent verification of present position and route by another crew member.
