Narrative:
On oct/xa/92, I was captain of flight a from abe to pit. Arriving at the gate in abe, I was met by 2 FAA inspectors, 1 maintenance, 1 operations. They were there to do a ramp check. The first officer and I showed our certificates to the operations inspector and everything was in order. Then the maintenance inspector and I both went through the logbook together and found no discrepancies or any open items. Everything was as it should have been. We left abe and proceeded to pit where our trip terminated. I was notified today, oct/xb/92, that an FAA maintenance inspector in ord found 2 write-up items which were supposedly written on oct/xc/92 on the flight from ord to pit. These 2 items were not in the logbook when I flew flight B from pit to abe, and they were not in the logbook on oct/xa/92 on flight a from abe to pit. The FAA maintenance inspector in abe confirmed to me today, that there were no open logbook items on flight a on oct/xa/92 from abe to pit.
