Narrative:
When ord ground control issued his instructions to taxi (at rate that was incomprehensible) he told us to follow an large transport. We saw one off to our left and proceeded to taxi. He then called and told us to follow the large transport behind the outbound widebody transport. We did and then missed the taxiway T-3 (part of the original instructions). Then we asked for and received new taxi instructions that included taxi via 9L extension. On our airport diagrams, there is no such depicted taxiway. They were off course, were too busy to bother with such a minor matter. The frequency is too congested, instructions are too complex and finally the ord taxi chart is too inaccurate! Please forward this complaint to the appropriate people before yet another taxi incident occurs at ord. By the way, the controller never advised us that anything out of the normal occurred during our taxi for takeoff.

Title: AN ACR PLT RPTS THAT ORD GND CTL WAS DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND BECAUSE OF THE CTLR'S RATE OF SPEECH. HE ALSO STATES THAT THE COMMERCIALLY SUPPLIED ARPT PAGE DOES NOT SHOW A 'RWY 9L EXTENSION' THAT WAS GIVEN TO HIM BY THE CTLR.

HE THEN CALLED AND TOLD US TO FOLLOW THE LGT BEHIND THE OUTBOUND WDB. WE DID AND THEN MISSED THE TAXIWAY T-3 (PART OF THE ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS). THEY WERE OFF COURSE, WERE TOO BUSY TO BOTHER WITH SUCH A MINOR MATTER. THE FREQ IS TOO CONGESTED, INSTRUCTIONS ARE TOO COMPLEX AND FINALLY THE ORD TAXI CHART IS TOO INACCURATE! PLEASE FORWARD THIS COMPLAINT TO THE APPROPRIATE PEOPLE BEFORE YET ANOTHER TAXI INCIDENT OCCURS AT ORD. BY THE WAY, THE CTLR NEVER ADVISED US THAT ANYTHING OUT OF THE NORMAL OCCURRED DURING OUR TAXI FOR TKOF.
