Narrative:

Instructor and student were doing lesson. We were doing a simulated power off. We immediately went to 83 mph glide and turned to runway to land. We seemed a little short on turning so did a go around. Did not notice any problems until we were coming in for a later landing and thought we had grass on wingtip. It was fiberglass threads. We must have barely scraped the runway as we were turning.
