Narrative:
Orlando tower switched runways as soon as winds dropped below a 10 KT tailwind component and caused all takeoffs to be made downwind, because of their noise abatement rules (lndgs too). Orville and wilbur proved that aircraft takeoff and land into the wind! Will somebody please tell orl tower before they bend some metal with their stupid, unsafe procedures. Just because a 9 KT wind is within my aircraft's certified legal limits doesn't mean I should be forced to commit an unsafe act and takeoff downwind. It happens more and more now.
