Narrative:

After being cleared into position and hold on runway 16L at van nuys, I was overflown while at the end of the displaced threshold. Other aircraft completed touch and go landing. Threshold is displaced approximately 1500 ft. I was unable to remind tower of my being in position and hold due to frequency congestion. Other aircraft either didn't see me or did and continued landing anyway. Is that common at vny?

Narrative: AFTER BEING CLRED INTO POS AND HOLD ON RWY 16L AT VAN NUYS, I WAS OVERFLOWN WHILE AT THE END OF THE DISPLACED THRESHOLD. OTHER ACFT COMPLETED TOUCH AND GO LNDG.
