Narrative:

Cpp NDB serves 2 airports, 5m0 and 3a1, and is the only instrument approach aid to both airports. The briefer gave full briefing but neglected to mention that cpp was OTS. I pointed out the omission based on telephonic complaints received from home base (5m0) of several pilots not getting the OTS notice. Station supervisor checked the procedure manual, and confirmed the correctness of the NOTAM. I highly recommend, if a navigation facility serves 2 or more airports, that the NOTAM list both airports. This represents at least 8 cases where this specific NOTAM was not briefed in a 1 month period. Otherwise -- the pilot will be obligated to plot his route -- identify all possible navigation aids along the route, and within 25 NM each side -- then specifically ask the briefer of the status of each!

Title: AN SMA PLT FOUND THAT THE NDB SERVING 2 ARPTS WAS OTS. THE NOTAM PUBLISHED ONLY LISTED 1 OF THE ARPTS AS HAVING AN OTS NAVAID.

Narrative: CPP NDB SERVES 2 ARPTS, 5M0 AND 3A1, AND IS THE ONLY INST APCH AID TO BOTH ARPTS. THE BRIEFER GAVE FULL BRIEFING BUT NEGLECTED TO MENTION THAT CPP WAS OTS. I POINTED OUT THE OMISSION BASED ON TELEPHONIC COMPLAINTS RECEIVED FROM HOME BASE (5M0) OF SEVERAL PLTS NOT GETTING THE OTS NOTICE. STATION SUPVR CHKED THE PROC MANUAL, AND CONFIRMED THE CORRECTNESS OF THE NOTAM. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, IF A NAV FACILITY SERVES 2 OR MORE ARPTS, THAT THE NOTAM LIST BOTH ARPTS. THIS REPRESENTS AT LEAST 8 CASES WHERE THIS SPECIFIC NOTAM WAS NOT BRIEFED IN A 1 MONTH PERIOD. OTHERWISE -- THE PLT WILL BE OBLIGATED TO PLOT HIS RTE -- IDENT ALL POSSIBLE NAV AIDS ALONG THE RTE, AND WITHIN 25 NM EACH SIDE -- THEN SPECIFICALLY ASK THE BRIEFER OF THE STATUS OF EACH!
