Narrative:
We were cleared to taxi to runway 19 hold short of runway 25 from the FBO. These 2 runway ends are close together and I thought I was holding short of runway 25 when actually I had taxied partially onto it. I saw no red sign for runway 25 and the ground was covered with about 1 inch of snow and ice so I never saw the yellow hold short line. It's possible that the plowing from 7 inches of snowfall the day before may have covered or blocked the sign but I did not see it. An aircraft was asked to go around because of my position with my nose over the runway end. I was wrong regardless of the markings for not getting progressive taxi instructions when I wasn't sure. I had looked at the airport diagram and thought I was positioned properly, but to my chagrin and embarrassment, I was not. ATC was very polite and handled a potentially dangerous situation very well. I apologized to the tower and the affected aircraft for my mistake.
