Narrative:
I was ferrying an experimental biplane to its home base at corona, ca. I had no lights or radio. I was in formation with an small aircraft. I could not speak to the pilot in the small aircraft, but our plan was to land before sunset, XA25 pm local. At XA30 we flew over corona airport which is uncontrolled, but the flood that covered 25 percent of the runway the week before had shorted out the lights (this was not notamed). I still had about 45 mins of fuel on board. I kept following the small aircraft around the airport about 2 times. It was getting too dark and the small aircraft was starting back to the airport for the third time. I could not get up close enough to signal the small aircraft pilot to head to another airport. I couldn't wait any longer (it was now dark). I went straight to chino. 1 aircraft had just departed runway 8. The plane looked to be turning my way. I stayed low and landed on the crossing runway. I landed very short and taxied up to the ramp in front of tower. The tower never saw me land.

Title: PLT OF SMA RADIOLESS ACFT WAS FORCED TO LAND AT A CTLED ARPT AT DUSK WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION.
Narrative: I WAS FERRYING AN EXPERIMENTAL BIPLANE TO ITS HOME BASE AT CORONA, CA. I HAD NO LIGHTS OR RADIO. I WAS IN FORMATION WITH AN SMA. I COULD NOT SPEAK TO THE PLT IN THE SMA, BUT OUR PLAN WAS TO LAND BEFORE SUNSET, XA25 PM LCL. AT XA30 WE FLEW OVER CORONA ARPT WHICH IS UNCTLED, BUT THE FLOOD THAT COVERED 25 PERCENT OF THE RWY THE WK BEFORE HAD SHORTED OUT THE LIGHTS (THIS WAS NOT NOTAMED). I STILL HAD ABOUT 45 MINS OF FUEL ON BOARD. I KEPT FOLLOWING THE SMA AROUND THE ARPT ABOUT 2 TIMES. IT WAS GETTING TOO DARK AND THE SMA WAS STARTING BACK TO THE ARPT FOR THE THIRD TIME. I COULD NOT GET UP CLOSE ENOUGH TO SIGNAL THE SMA PLT TO HEAD TO ANOTHER ARPT. I COULDN'T WAIT ANY LONGER (IT WAS NOW DARK). I WENT STRAIGHT TO CHINO. 1 ACFT HAD JUST DEPARTED RWY 8. THE PLANE LOOKED TO BE TURNING MY WAY. I STAYED LOW AND LANDED ON THE XING RWY. I LANDED VERY SHORT AND TAXIED UP TO THE RAMP IN FRONT OF TWR. THE TWR NEVER SAW ME LAND.
