Narrative:

While flying a scheduled flight from fll to mdw at a point 50 NM east of bna the captain and I (first officer) noticed the center frequency was getting quiet. We attempted a relay with another carrier but were unable. We contacted ZME and were given a handoff to ZID at which point our company sel called us with the same frequency. No conflicts (TCASII equipped) with any other aircraft occurred during the loss of communication and after contact with ZID, the flight was normal.
