Narrative:
On visual approach to 27L with landing clearance ,TCASII gave RA to climb. I could not see target that tower was now advising us of, so I initiated a go around. Once the go around was started, we saw the target, but it was too late to continue the approach.

Title: MLG RECEIVES TCASII RA WHILE ON A VISUAL APCH. EXECUTES GAR.
Narrative: ON VISUAL APCH TO 27L WITH LNDG CLRNC ,TCASII GAVE RA TO CLB. I COULD NOT SEE TARGET THAT TWR WAS NOW ADVISING US OF, SO I INITIATED A GAR. ONCE THE GAR WAS STARTED, WE SAW THE TARGET, BUT IT WAS TOO LATE TO CONTINUE THE APCH.
