Narrative:
Inbound to pmd VOR from hector. Cleared the lynxx-6 arrival to bur, cross pmd at or below 13000, cross janny and maintain 8000. Descending through 12000 we got a TCASII TA 500 ft below and 2 mi in front. We stopped descent at 118000 ft just as the RA commanded climb 2000 FPM. We advised pmd approach as we climbed up to 12500 ft. He was busy, but when he finally got back to us he said the only traffic we had was 2 mi behind us at 11500!
