Narrative:
Accepted an aircraft which did not have a proper airworthiness release. Was already a 12-hour day, an aircraft change and looked only at previous write-ups and made sure there was no open maintenance write-ups. Was hurried and did not catch the required airworthiness signoff 2 flts before. Next pilot called me and told me the error. Did not take my time, I was hurried in my preflight.
