Narrative:
We were on visual approach following traffic 5 mi ahead for runway 34R at sea. Air carrier Y, medium large transport, overtook from behind resulting in a TCASII descend resolution. We made descending right turn off the approach. When 'all clear of traffic' sounded we turned back to approach and then saw the medium large transport. Traffic should not overtake for close parallels.

Title: ACR LGT PIC PERFORMS EVASIVE ACTION DSCNT TURN IN COMPLIANCE WITH TCASII RA WHILE ON A VISUAL APCH TO MULTIPLE RWY OP PARALLEL RWYS.
Narrative: WE WERE ON VISUAL APCH FOLLOWING TFC 5 MI AHEAD FOR RWY 34R AT SEA. ACR Y, MLG, OVERTOOK FROM BEHIND RESULTING IN A TCASII DSND RESOLUTION. WE MADE DSNDING R TURN OFF THE APCH. WHEN 'ALL CLR OF TFC' SOUNDED WE TURNED BACK TO APCH AND THEN SAW THE MLG. TFC SHOULD NOT OVERTAKE FOR CLOSE PARALLELS.
