Narrative:
Level at 9000 ft, cleared for ILS approach to runway 34L at slc. We were issued a heading, a turn to the left (westerly) for traffic. Immediately there was a TA issued by TCASII. Traffic below us 200-300 ft and climbing. We were then issued an RA to descend at a rate of 4000 FPM. We followed RA and descended 500 ft below clearance altitude of 9000 ft. We notified ATC during descent of deviation.
