Narrative:
I lost communication with aircraft on the local control frequency 119.1 MHZ. The main transmitter went out and the standby was already OTS. In the past, deselecting the frequency and then reselecting the frequency would bring it back. In this case, that did not bring the frequency back.

Title: MAIN XMITTER FOR LCL CTL WENT OUT. CTLR UNABLE TO COM WITH ACFT.
Narrative: I LOST COM WITH ACFT ON THE LCL CTL FREQ 119.1 MHZ. THE MAIN XMITTER WENT OUT AND THE STANDBY WAS ALREADY OTS. IN THE PAST, DESELECTING THE FREQ AND THEN RESELECTING THE FREQ WOULD BRING IT BACK. IN THIS CASE, THAT DID NOT BRING THE FREQ BACK.
