Narrative:
After takeoff radio communication was lost with ATC. Shortly after, conflicting traffic was observed ahead. Prompt, gradual descent was initiated to maintain separation. After clearing traffic, communication with ATC was reestablished and the flight was continued without further incident. It was later determined that a faulty audio panel in our aircraft caused communications to be interrupted.

Title: MLG HAS LOSS OF COM AND TAKES EVASIVE ACTION ON VISUAL CONTACT OF TFC.
Narrative: AFTER TKOF RADIO COM WAS LOST WITH ATC. SHORTLY AFTER, CONFLICTING TFC WAS OBSERVED AHEAD. PROMPT, GRADUAL DSCNT WAS INITIATED TO MAINTAIN SEPARATION. AFTER CLRING TFC, COM WITH ATC WAS REESTABLISHED AND THE FLT WAS CONTINUED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. IT WAS LATER DETERMINED THAT A FAULTY AUDIO PANEL IN OUR ACFT CAUSED COMS TO BE INTERRUPTED.
