Narrative:

Conducted 2 pre takeoff runups, no problems. At altitude en route, lost left alternator. I did not realize warning light for right alternator had failed en route. Experienced near total electrical failure. Greater knowledge of system and troubleshooting would have prevented 'pucker factor.' landed just fine.

Narrative: CONDUCTED 2 PRE TKOF RUNUPS, NO PROBS. AT ALT ENRTE, LOST L ALTERNATOR. I DID NOT REALIZE WARNING LIGHT FOR R ALTERNATOR HAD FAILED ENRTE. EXPERIENCED NEAR TOTAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE. GREATER KNOWLEDGE OF SYS AND TROUBLESHOOTING WOULD HAVE PREVENTED 'PUCKER FACTOR.' LANDED JUST FINE.
