Narrative:

I was cleared to taxi by tower. Involved turning right. While turning right I ran over gas tank which protrudes about 2 inches over ramp pavement. I knew that there were other projections on ramp so I was looking right while turning right and my rear seat passenger said watch out. I made contact with the left wing on the right fender of gas truck. Truck had just pulled up to fuel another airplane. It was stopped when contact made.

Title: SMA STRIKES FUEL TRUCK WITH WINGTIP WHILE TAXIING.

Narrative: I WAS CLRED TO TAXI BY TWR. INVOLVED TURNING R. WHILE TURNING R I RAN OVER GAS TANK WHICH PROTRUDES ABOUT 2 INCHES OVER RAMP PAVEMENT. I KNEW THAT THERE WERE OTHER PROJECTIONS ON RAMP SO I WAS LOOKING R WHILE TURNING R AND MY REAR SEAT PAX SAID WATCH OUT. I MADE CONTACT WITH THE L WING ON THE R FENDER OF GAS TRUCK. TRUCK HAD JUST PULLED UP TO FUEL ANOTHER AIRPLANE. IT WAS STOPPED WHEN CONTACT MADE.
