Narrative:
We were cleared for takeoff on runway 10L at sfo. At approximately 100 ft AGL I saw a commuter aircraft taking off runway 10R at our same altitude. I think that ATC should have pointed out the traffic when we were cleared for takeoff. We quickly passed and outclbed the commuter but it would have been nice to have had him in sight, in case one of us had a directional control problem ex engine failure. When I got to our destination (mem) I called sfo tower and talked to the controller. He said he did not tell us about the commuter traffic due to his workload but he normally would have issued the traffic when he gave us takeoff clearance.
