Narrative:
Approaching gate in atlanta, I became distracted and overshot the appropriate parking line for our aircraft. Our nose tires made contact with the tow bar and there was tire damage. Possible distrs: a last min gate change, extremely sensitive brakes, possible preoccupation with the green lateral guidance indicator and fatigue as a long duty day was approaching its conclusion. There was also considerable activity visible through the terminal windows.
