Narrative:
WX cut off arrs into dfw. The approach controller was task saturated. When this happens, split the workload, add another controller for the aircraft arriving into dfw. I told the controller to save the tape. We had to declare 'minimum fuel' due to excess vectoring.

Title: TERMINAL AREA WX, TFC CONGESTION AND APCH CTLR WORKLOAD PROMPT FLC TO DECLARE MINIMUM FUEL.
Narrative: WX CUT OFF ARRS INTO DFW. THE APCH CTLR WAS TASK SATURATED. WHEN THIS HAPPENS, SPLIT THE WORKLOAD, ADD ANOTHER CTLR FOR THE ACFT ARRIVING INTO DFW. I TOLD THE CTLR TO SAVE THE TAPE. WE HAD TO DECLARE 'MINIMUM FUEL' DUE TO EXCESS VECTORING.
