Narrative:

My captain was flying the approach into mke. The approach controller called the RVR was 1500 when we were 7 mi out. RVR for the approach was 2400. I advised the captain that if we began the approach we would be in violation of the FARS. He said 'it's my F_______ airplane, I'll take responsibility.' I repeated my warning to him that if we began the approach that we would be illegal. He said 'I'm the one that will get violated -- we are going to shoot the approach.' at this point, I decided it would be safer not to fight over the controls. To remedy this situation -- I have since left the company and put him on report to my old boss.
