Narrative:
Simple event. Forgot to close VFR flight plan. I've read callback and I could have switched my watch to other wrist or stuffed my pants or even devised a huge tag to attach to my belt -- but I didn't. I figured my passenger was competent enough so that with 2 of us, we would remember. Well I remembered 2 hours later, as we were returning to the aircraft.
