Narrative:
Upon applying takeoff power on runway 4R, we received a takeoff warning horn problem so I disconnected the takeoff at about 15 KTS and was instructed by the tower to make the first left turn off the runway. We knew there was an aircraft on short final landing on the same runway. The runway we turned onto for taxiing was runway 27 which was clear but was also notamed closed. Tower then instructed us to continue our taxi for another takeoff. A problem did not arise from this action but if it should, I chose this action as I believed it was the safest thing to do per tower's instructions to make the first left turn.

Title: AN ACR MLG TAXIED ONTO A CLOSED RWY AFTER ABORTING A TKOF.
Narrative: UPON APPLYING TKOF PWR ON RWY 4R, WE RECEIVED A TKOF WARNING HORN PROB SO I DISCONNECTED THE TKOF AT ABOUT 15 KTS AND WAS INSTRUCTED BY THE TWR TO MAKE THE FIRST L TURN OFF THE RWY. WE KNEW THERE WAS AN ACFT ON SHORT FINAL LNDG ON THE SAME RWY. THE RWY WE TURNED ONTO FOR TAXIING WAS RWY 27 WHICH WAS CLR BUT WAS ALSO NOTAMED CLOSED. TWR THEN INSTRUCTED US TO CONTINUE OUR TAXI FOR ANOTHER TKOF. A PROB DID NOT ARISE FROM THIS ACTION BUT IF IT SHOULD, I CHOSE THIS ACTION AS I BELIEVED IT WAS THE SAFEST THING TO DO PER TWR'S INSTRUCTIONS TO MAKE THE FIRST L TURN.
