Narrative:
Level at FL290 issued TCASII TA followed almost immediately by an RA requiring a 1000 FPM climb. Crew complied and leveled 30300 when TCASII reported clear of traffic. ATC reported no loss of separation or apparent intruder aircraft however controller was working airspace FL290 and above while TCASII intruder displayed at FL270.

Narrative: LEVEL AT FL290 ISSUED TCASII TA FOLLOWED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY BY AN RA REQUIRING A 1000 FPM CLB. CREW COMPLIED AND LEVELED 30300 WHEN TCASII RPTED CLR OF TFC.
