Narrative:
Cleared to maintain 11000. Cleared to turn left to 010 and intercept bos 4R localizer. Student captain got confused and turned right to 110 and started to descend. I caught the descent about the same time ZBW called and advised us to maintain 11000. I took over control of aircraft and got on course and altitude. ZBW did not say anything else.

Narrative: CLRED TO MAINTAIN 11000. CLRED TO TURN L TO 010 AND INTERCEPT BOS 4R LOC. STUDENT CAPT GOT CONFUSED AND TURNED R TO 110 AND STARTED TO DSND. I CAUGHT THE DSCNT ABOUT THE SAME TIME ZBW CALLED AND ADVISED US TO MAINTAIN 11000. I TOOK OVER CTL OF ACFT AND GOT ON COURSE AND ALT. ZBW DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ELSE.
