Narrative:
Departed prc without problem to dut. About 1/2 way into flight, total electrical failure. Hand pumped gear down. Attempted to overfly tower at pattern altitude. At 500 ft, traffic conflict. Entered traffic pattern at usual spot (cap canal and I-10 freeway). Since no radio, looked for 'green' from tower cabin attendant. Turned final for runway 25L. Aircraft on runway and no green light. Executed left 270 degree turn, turned back to base and final. Got green light, landed and secured cockpit. Then called tower.
