Narrative:
Landing gear would not indicate proper sequence during retraction cycle. Landing gear was then extended using alternate method (this should have resequenced the gear system). Again I retracted the landing gear and still I did not get a proper indication of gear up and doors closed. I then called mci and asked to call my company for further instructions. I was asked by my company if the aircraft was safe to fly, to fly to home base. I had 4 hours of fuel to burn off and I thought it best to fly 2 hours to home base and talk directly to my mechanics to try to rectify the malfunction to avoid a gear up incident. I eventually landed safely after my mechanic had me confirm gear was down through a few alternate checks, even though I did not have '3 green down and locked' indication.
