Narrative:
Miscalculated fuel supply and had to make off airport landing. First landing choice, highway, had obstructions. Alternate choice, meadow, might be too rough for small aircraft gear, so tried wheels up landing which was successful except in feathering propeller. Only damage was curling 6 inches on end of each of 2 blades.
