Running low on fuel and daylight. Forced landing in field near house and horse. No damage or injury. May have violated 500 ft distance to property on landing. Large wooded area beyond where I landed made it imprudent to continue flight due to impending sunset and minimum fuel.

Narrative: RUNNING LOW ON FUEL AND DAYLIGHT. FORCED LNDG IN FIELD NEAR HOUSE AND HORSE. NO DAMAGE OR INJURY. MAY HAVE VIOLATED 500 FT DISTANCE TO PROPERTY ON LNDG. LARGE WOODED AREA BEYOND WHERE I LANDED MADE IT IMPRUDENT TO CONTINUE FLT DUE TO IMPENDING SUNSET AND MINIMUM FUEL.
