Narrative:
Takeoff was rushed due to short taxi time. In the process I failed to announce 'flight attendants, prepare for departure.' the aft flight attendant came up later to let me know that she was up when we started takeoff roll. Besides the rush and short taxi, concerns over the company's threats to declare bankruptcy and furlough me had my mind where it shouldn't have been -- worrying about my job, not flying. The FAA worries about everything else concerning safety, but pays no attention to the effect of financial problems at a carrier. The threats and intimidation by management are at least as dangerous to flying safety as lack of a sterile cockpit, but nobody seems to care.

Title: CHKLIST USE BY ACR CREW DEFICIENT IN THAT PRETKOF ALERT NOT ISSUED TO CABIN ATTENDANT. TKOF PERFORMED WITH CABIN ATTENDANT STANDING IN AISLE.
Narrative: TKOF WAS RUSHED DUE TO SHORT TAXI TIME. IN THE PROCESS I FAILED TO ANNOUNCE 'FLT ATTENDANTS, PREPARE FOR DEP.' THE AFT FLT ATTENDANT CAME UP LATER TO LET ME KNOW THAT SHE WAS UP WHEN WE STARTED TKOF ROLL. BESIDES THE RUSH AND SHORT TAXI, CONCERNS OVER THE COMPANY'S THREATS TO DECLARE BANKRUPTCY AND FURLOUGH ME HAD MY MIND WHERE IT SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN -- WORRYING ABOUT MY JOB, NOT FLYING. THE FAA WORRIES ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE CONCERNING SAFETY, BUT PAYS NO ATTN TO THE EFFECT OF FINANCIAL PROBS AT A CARRIER. THE THREATS AND INTIMIDATION BY MGMNT ARE AT LEAST AS DANGEROUS TO FLYING SAFETY AS LACK OF A STERILE COCKPIT, BUT NOBODY SEEMS TO CARE.
