Narrative:
Flying from sky to 1g3 I received a clearance from cle (TCA) approach to enter through the TCA, proceed on course (106 degrees). Cle approach control gave me a vector to 180 degrees then to 140 degrees and that was the last I heard from cle. When I realized I was 10 mi from akron airport I tried calling cle approach on 124.0, 118.9, 125.35. No response, then switched headset to microphone. Still no response (dead silence). So I tried calling akron approach on 118.6, approach told me I was weak. Advised to switch to 125.5. As I was vectored to 1g3 communications were weak to unreadable. At one point I had to identify to acknowledge my vector. When I landed, I squawked the aircraft for the radio. Hopefully, the radio will get fixed and this problem will not occur again.
