Narrative:
On jul/wed/93 at approximately XA45 local. Maintenance at bdl released aircraft with an access panel missing. I preflted aircraft according to the FAA approved airplane flight manual and in accordance with our company training. Upon return to bdl on jul/thu/93 at approximately XM15 local (approximately 13 1/2 hours later), aircraft was met by maintenance bradley with the access panel in possession.

Title: FO MISSES ACCESS PANEL THAT IS NOT ON ACFT DURING HIS PREFLT IN A NIGHT OP. PANEL REPLACED NEXT DAY UPON ACFT'S RETURN FROM FLT.
Narrative: ON JUL/WED/93 AT APPROX XA45 LCL. MAINT AT BDL RELEASED ACFT WITH AN ACCESS PANEL MISSING. I PREFLTED ACFT ACCORDING TO THE FAA APPROVED AIRPLANE FLT MANUAL AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR COMPANY TRAINING. UPON RETURN TO BDL ON JUL/THU/93 AT APPROX XM15 LCL (APPROX 13 1/2 HRS LATER), ACFT WAS MET BY MAINT BRADLEY WITH THE ACCESS PANEL IN POSSESSION.
