Narrative:
A passenger told one of the flight attendants that he noticed a section of the wing which was wet. The flight attendant relayed this information to the captain and myself in the cockpit. No abnormal fuel usage was noted during the flight. Flight was continued uneventfully to bwi. Upon landing, we asked maintenance personnel to inspect the wing area where a passenger had noted some dampness during flight. Since no abnormal fuel burn was noted, we did not enter a discrepancy into the aircraft logbook. This was our last flight in this particular aircraft, so we do not know the results of the maintenance inspection.

Title: THE CREW OF AN ACR MLG FAILED TO WRITE UP A POSSIBLE FUEL LEAK IN THE MAINT LOG.
Narrative: A PAX TOLD ONE OF THE FLT ATTENDANTS THAT HE NOTICED A SECTION OF THE WING WHICH WAS WET. THE FLT ATTENDANT RELAYED THIS INFO TO THE CAPT AND MYSELF IN THE COCKPIT. NO ABNORMAL FUEL USAGE WAS NOTED DURING THE FLT. FLT WAS CONTINUED UNEVENTFULLY TO BWI. UPON LNDG, WE ASKED MAINT PERSONNEL TO INSPECT THE WING AREA WHERE A PAX HAD NOTED SOME DAMPNESS DURING FLT. SINCE NO ABNORMAL FUEL BURN WAS NOTED, WE DID NOT ENTER A DISCREPANCY INTO THE ACFT LOGBOOK. THIS WAS OUR LAST FLT IN THIS PARTICULAR ACFT, SO WE DO NOT KNOW THE RESULTS OF THE MAINT INSPECTION.
